Since November 27th 2020, it is mandatory to present, before boarding, the diagnostic test to SARS-CoV-2 with a Negative result.
1st -> Passengers wishing to travel to the territory of the Autonomous Region of the Azores, by air or by sea, and who come from areas considered by the World Health Organization to be zones of active community transmission or with chains of active transmission of the SARS-CoV-2 virus, it is mandatory to present, before boarding, proof, in digital or paper support, of a document issued by a laboratory, national or international, of conducting a diagnostic test to SARS-CoV-2 with NEGATIVE result.
2nd -> Diagnostic tests for SARS-CoV-2 must be carried out using the RT-PCR methodology, within 72 hours before departure from the final destination to the territory of the Autonomous Region of the Azores.
3rd -> The document issued by the laboratory that performs the SARS-CoV-2 diagnostic test must contain the identification of the person tested, the laboratory, the date of the test, the result of the test, as well as the reference to the use of the RT-PCR methodology.
4th -> Extending the stay in the Autonomous Region of the Azores for 7 or more days, the passenger must contact the local health authority where he resides or is staying in order to perform on the 6th day, counting the date of the first test, new test screening for SARS-CoV-2, to be promoted by the local health authority, the result of which will be communicated to you.
